Caren Miosga (born April 11, 1969, in Peine, Lower Saxony, West Germany) is a German journalist and TV presenter. She is best known for hosting the news program Tagesthemen on ARD for many years and now presents her own weekly political talk show, Caren Miosga, on Das Erste since January 21, 2024.
Early Life and Education
Caren Miosga grew up in Groß Ilsede, Lower Saxony. She went to a local grammar school and later studied history and Slavic studies at the University of Hamburg. While studying, she worked as a tour guide in Saint Petersburg and Moscow. Caren Miosga speaks Russian fluently.
