Brianna Throssell was born on February 10, 1996, in Subiaco, Western Australia. From a young age, Throssell showed a strong aptitude for swimming. She pursued her education at The University of Notre Dame Australia and Perth College Anglican School for Girls, which helped to shape her early career.
Swimming Career
Brianna Throssell competitive swimming career began to shine when she competed in the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics. There, she achieved remarkable success, securing seven bronze medals across various events. Her impressive performance at the Youth Olympics marked her as a rising star in the swimming world.
In 2016, Brianna Throssell represented Australia at the Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics. She competed in the 200m butterfly event, where she advanced to the finals but finished in last place with a time of 2:07.87, after a strong showing in the semi-finals where she placed third.
