Hi Esther - you got most of the details/facts, correct. Thank you. However, it was not the authorities who contact me, it was Ryan, the American climber who found my dad's body and who used his friends and family to scour the internet to find me. It was Ryan who contacted me Saturday morning, June 29th to share the news of his discovery. Ryan was respectful and has been an amazing human during this recovery process. I gathered my family that same Saturday and we spoke with Ryan so that he could share his amazing story with us all together. Also, my dad's profession was: Civil Engineer. Also, my dad preferred to be called Bill, not William.
