Our graduate students in mass communication receive some of the highest financial support among similar programs in the U.S. Admitted students are guaranteed funding throughout their studies: 2 years for the M.A. program and 4 years for the Ph.D. program. Funding includes assistantships, fellowships, stipends, tuition waivers, health insurance, support for travel, and university fees. Every admitted student receives funding unless they have external funding. Additionally, we provide various opportunities for funding student research. Students also receive office space and computer access at Murphy Hall.
