All interview questions are geared towards understanding your motives and how prepared you are for the program:
1) How many schools did you apply to and how many admitted you?
2) What program are you going to study?
3) Who is your sponsor?
4) What does your sponsor do?
5) Have you traveled before? Have you been denied visa for any country before?
6) Why did you choose this particular course and school?
7) Do you wish to work in the USA after your studies?
8) What’s your long-term plan?
9) Why did you choose USA and not other countries?
10) When did you finish college and what have you been doing?
11) How much is your salary in your current job?
12) Why do you wish to return home after studies and not settle down in the USA?
13) How many siblings do you have?
14) When is your program starting? What courses will you do in your first semester?
15) How did you hear about the school? Do you have family members in the USA?
16) Did you get any scholarship from the school? Which standardized exams did you sit for?
Prepare for your interview very carefully. Think about worst case scenarios and prepare a plan accordingly. Get someone to run mock interviews with you. Test your ability to answer questions and improve that.
