FUPRE JUPEB Admission Details
The foundation programme leads to the award of Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) Certificate which shall allow the opportunity for candidates to gain Direct Entry admission into 200 level of the disciplines offered by FUPRE and other Universities in Nigeria and abroad.
The Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) certificate is equivalent to the Advance Level General Certificate of Education (A’GCE), Higher School Certificate (HSC) or Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB).
Candidates who successfully complete the programme shall also enjoy the privilege of being admitted into JUPEB affiliated institutions. The duration of the programme is one academic session of two (2) semesters.
For admission into FUPRE and other affiliated institutions, each candidate, in addition to passing the predescribed JUPEB examination, must obtain the Direct Entry form and satisfy all admission requirements prescribed by the Departments and Colleges of choice.
FUPRE Foundation/JUPEB Programme
The Programme shall run for one Academic Session beginning from September 2024 to August 2025. It is an intensive programme to prepare candidates for admission into the 200-level degree programme offered by the University, other JUPEB affiliated Universities, and International Universities.
FUPRE JUPEB 2024/2025 Admission Requirements
a) Five (5) Ordinary Level Credit Pass in relevant subjects, to include English Language. Awaiting result is NOT allowed
b) Students who meet the admission requirements will be invited for a written qualifying examination.
c) Successful candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Fifty Thousand Naira only (N50,000.00).
Criteria For Admission To 200 Level
The course allocated will be determined by the level of performance.
Students will sit for JUPEB Examination at the end of the course and will be able to transit to 200 Level into any of the JUPEB Affiliated Universities both in Nigeria and Abroad.
a) Successful candidates that will be enrolled in the degree programmes at the 200 level must purchase the Direct Entry JAMB form.
b) On admission, if any student voluntarily withdraws from the Programme, request for refund of school fee will NOT be entertained.
FUPRE Pre-degree/basic Programme
The basic Programme shall run for one Academic Session beginning from September 2024 to August, 2025. It is an intensive programme to prepare candidates for admission through JAMB into the 100-level degree programmes offered by the University.
FUPRE Pre-degree Admission Requirements
a) Five (5) Ordinary Level Credit Pass in relevant subjects, to include English Language. Awaiting result is also considered.
b) Students who meet the admission requirements will be invited for a written qualifying examination.
c) Successful candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Twenty Five Thousand Naira only (N25,000.00).
d) On admission, if any student voluntarily withdraws from the Programme, request for refund of school fee will NOT be entertained.
