Position Description
The research group of Dr. Omar Abbaas has an open position for a highly motivated and hard-working Ph.D. student interested in theoretical and applied optimization. The selected candidate will be expected to conduct high-impact research and write strong peer-reviewed papers for publication in top-tier scientific journals.

Requirements
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering. Operations Research, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• Strong mathematical programming background.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, MATLAB, C++, etc.
• Familiarity with math solvers and modeling languages like CPLEX, GAMS, Gurobi, etc. is highly preferred.
• Familiarity and interest in machine learning and cloud computing.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
