I always tell people - have a plan!
I would suggest India over Kazakhstan. I know of a friend of mine that did his Master's in India. However, India was affordable for him at the time, a semester was $3k or so and a full session $5k. That was affordable and he didn’t have to show large amount as proof of fund. Living condition was good. It was almost like studying for free.
Now these scholarship destinations may not be your end goal, but if you see a country that’s willing to sponsor your undergraduate - take it! Go! from there find your way after graduation (make sure you graduate).
I know two Nigerians who went to Korea and Thailand for their undergraduate fully funded. From there they applied for PhD in America. Today they are here.
These countries are even better than Kazakhstan. Any country you go to as a funded student, you have an advantage!
I don't why some person's minds are so myopic that they want to study in Europe desperately, to me these Asian countries can be a stepping stone to your desired country. Since one has been trying US and Canada those high profile countries and it has not been working, I urge everyone to take a Baby step to Asian from there one can go higher.
I know people who went for PhD in Korea but are doing their post doc in the U.S. and have applied for Green card through the exceptional ability route!
So don’t play! Know what you’re doing. Have a plan.
There are many Nigerians studying there on Scholarship. Kazakhstan is currently one of the cheapest countries in central Asia you can live in currently. Your classes are in English you can also decide to learn Russian language, which is there major language there - or learn Kazakh language, which is there native language.
