I stayed at an Airbnb that offered breakfast, saving me cost. You may want to try this option. As I will always tell you, Google is your friend; use Google to search how close the Airbnb is to the embassy! Viola! You are good to go.
What is the best form of transportation in the Dominican Republic?
Uber Bike is the best and most reliable form of commuting. Ensure your Uber app is installed; Lift DOES NOT work in this country! Ensure you have your Uber app because you will struggle with internet connection at the airport; that thing, FK me up! Learn from my mistakes.
While you are preparing for a visa interview and VAC appointment, you will keep your stuff outside in a secure place if you don't have anyone to accompany you. You will pay 300DOP; please use Google to check the dollar equivalent!
Lastly, make sure you change some dollars into their currency. They prefer cash in this part of the world aside from the Uber app. I saw shege banza! I am so into a cashless policy that I forgot to go with some dollars!
